Purdue JazzFest Recap

The OHS Jazz Ensemble enjoyed a real jazz immersion weekend at the Purdue JazzFest, highlighted by a performance and masterclass by Chris Potter, DownBeat Magazine's 2014 saxophonist of the year. Besides that, the jazz band played a tough program and received several Outstanding Soloist Awards, including Scott Eriksen, Hayley Paladines, Nikesh Patel, Danny Anderson, and Ryan Lewis.
