Jazz Ensemble 1
The Jazz Ensemble 1 is the premier extra-curricular ensemble at OHS. The band starts with auditions in late-August, and their season ends in mid-March with a few performances. There is a lot of emphasis on improvisation, and the band is split into combos at various points throughout the season. Furthermore, the ensemble attends several area festivals, and hosts sectional coaches and clinicians on a very regular basis.
