Our season could not have ended in a more uplifting way on Saturday. After three years of working hard, we got a little taste of success at the Downers Grove South Mustang Marching Bowl. Out of 21 bands, the PMB finished in 8th place, including their first ever trip to a finals. When the schools that made finals were announced, the students screamed, jumped up and down, and had tears in their eyes. They finished with their best scores of the season, all against a lineup of outstanding bands. After prelims, the band was actually in seventh place, highlighted by a 4th place finish in individual music, 6th place in individual visuals, 6th place in percussion (highest of the season), 5th place in drum majors, and the colorguard with their highest ever finish at 13th place. In finals, the PMB actually dropped one spot, but their scores were highlighted by a 4th place in ensemble music. Congrats on all your hard work Panthers!!!
