Graduation and Top 10

One of the biggest honors that academically gifted students shoot for at OHS in to make it into the Top 10% of the graduating class. At the end of the year, these students are celebrated by the district with a special dinner and awards night, where they get to recognize their most influential educators along the way. Every year, there is a huge number of music students  at the event. This year, the number was especially staggering, as over a third of the top 10% were band students for all for years of high school. 

After that, we said goodbye to one of the most amazing senior classes in our school's history. Remaining members of the Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble provided music before and after the ceremony, and the Wind Symphony played "Glorioso", a segment of one of their favorite tunes from the end of the year.
