A week of guest clinicians

This past week, the band programs welcomed three guest clinicians, all experts in their fields. First, off Charlie Menghini, president and Director of Bands at VanderCook College of Music, came in last week to work with our top band. Next, Elmhurst College band director Peter Griffin worked with the Wind Symphony on their music for the National Concert Band Festival. And finally last night, the new conductor of the NIU Jazz Ensemble, Reggie Thomas, spent a few hours tweaking our songs for next week's JazzNite. You can see Reggie sitting in and playing with the band Thursday, March 5th at 7PM in the OHS Auditorium.
