On Monday, November 9th, Oswego High School welcomed it's next class of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. These students represent some of the best and brightest in our music program, and the students gave a recital to fulfill their last membership requirement. Assistant principal Bill Nunamaker gave a short welcome and congratulatory speech, and a short reception followed. The students who were inducted include: Chloe Brougham, Ursula Butkus, Caroline Davey, Ryan Davey, Katelynn Eloso, Livilla Glover, Desiree Harms, Amanda Henderson, Tori Hinz, Garrett Howell, Hannah Kelsheimer, Aimee Leger, Madeline Leigh, Megan Lumbert, Justin Mabrey, Matt Mereness, Nick Martinez, Erin Murgas, Tara O'Connell, Elizabeth Sester, Katelyn Speck, and Julia Woelke For the second straight year, Oswego High School is sending students to the National Concert Band Festival in Indianapolis. This year, an incredible flute quintet from our Wind Symphony will be representing the school in the chamber music division. The festival occurs March 9-12, 2016, and the girls need to prepare a full concert of their own music. Of any students we have ever had though, they are up to the challenge, and will represent our program with excellence and dignity. Congrats to Evah Engel, Katie Claus, Isabela Pelikan, Taylor Martin, and Eileen Fey for a job well done! :)
