Test for Tuesday, Feb. 7th
Winds: Entertainer 22-39
Percussion: Make your own multiple percussion piece. You must use the following…1) A keyboard instrument, like marimba, vibes, etc. 2) A set of drums with different pitches, i.e.timpani, congas, etc.3) Snare drum 4) Cymbal The piece must be 16 measures long. You are only writing it at this point…we will play if for a grade later on. Be creative…no note longer then a quarter note, use rudiments, rock it out!!!!

If you weren’t in class, please have this done by Tuesday, 11/22. You may simply email me your responses. Here’s what you need to do:
Write well-thought out, mature comments (good and bad), using musical buzz words like tone, intonation, balance, blend, articulation, rhythm, tempo, accuracy, etc. Write the following number of comments per piece… Processional (5), Sun-God (5), Anthelios (7), and Imperatrix (8). At the end, tell me what your favorite piece was from this concert cycle, and write 3-5 sentences as to why.
