The Percussion Ensemble at Oswego High School is an extra curricular group that rehearses once per week.  The group prepares music for band concerts, Crystals Concerts, festival performances such as the Illinois Percussive Arts Society “Day of Percussion,” VanderCook College of Music “Day of Percussion,” and presents the annual “Night of Percussion” at OHS.  Percussion ensemble is open to any students in the OHS Band Program that can commit to all of the rehearsal and performance dates that want to explore the repertoire of the Percussion Ensemble, including classic works, novelty pieces, and contemporary works for percussion.
