Northwestern Band Day

The OHS Panther Marching Band had a great year in 2009. Our show was the “Music of Bill Chase”, a funk trumpeter without equal. The music was something the students took to right away, and the high energy show featured trumpet soloists Ken Citro, Brad Donati, Jessie Runyon, Maddie Vogler, Cassie Johnson, and Andrew Bockus. Besides a season where the band played for a football team that was barely ousted the second round of the playoffs, the Marching Panthers marched the OHS Homecoming Parade, the Chicago Columbus Day Parade, and took their show on the road with a weekend trip to Cedar Point, Ohio.
